AB An approach to increasing the efficiency of the diamond grinding of hard-working materials is shown. A well-founded choice of characteristics of the diamond-bearing layer of the tool can be made through analyzing the results of 3D modeling of the processes of formation and operation of the diamond-bearing layer and stresses upon it. Diamond wheels formed on porous ceramic binders are investigated and discussed.
